Indoor air quality

Solve the air problem you actually have.

Dust, humidity, odors, and uneven airflow do not all have the same cause. Big Chill starts with the complaint and the HVAC system so the recommendation matches the property instead of a one-size-fits-all add-on.

Concerns we can discuss

  • Filters load unusually fast
  • Dust returns quickly after cleaning
  • Indoor humidity feels consistently high or low
  • Certain rooms feel stuffy or receive weak airflow
  • Odors seem connected to system operation
  • You need a better filtration strategy

Possible areas of focus

  • Filter size, fit, type, and pressure impact
  • Return and supply airflow conditions
  • Blower and accessible coil condition
  • Humidity and condensate performance
  • Duct leakage or distribution concerns
  • Filtration or humidity-control options

How Big Chill approaches the call

A clear path from problem to next step.

01

Define

Identify the specific air, dust, odor, humidity, or airflow complaint.

02

Inspect

Look at the HVAC factors that may be contributing to the issue.

03

Prioritize

Start with the most practical correction before adding equipment.

Common questions

Before you call.

These answers are general. The equipment and conditions at the property determine the right next step.

Is the highest-rated filter always the best choice?

No. A filter must fit the cabinet and the system’s airflow capability. A very restrictive filter can reduce airflow if the system is not designed for it.

Can HVAC equipment eliminate every indoor air problem?

No. Source control, building moisture, housekeeping, ventilation, duct condition, and occupant activities can all matter. HVAC improvements should target the part the system can reasonably influence.

Do indoor air-quality products replace maintenance?

No. Filters, humidity controls, and other accessories still depend on proper airflow, clean equipment, routine service, and replacement of consumable parts.
