Seasonal HVAC maintenance

Help the system stay ready for peak weather.

Maintenance cannot prevent every failure, but it can reveal developing problems, support proper airflow, and give you a clearer picture of equipment condition before the hottest or coldest days arrive.

What seasonal maintenance supports

  • A clean, unobstructed condensate path
  • Correct filter and airflow conditions
  • Electrical components that are not visibly failing
  • Normal temperature change and system operation
  • Earlier notice of wear or developing concerns
  • A documented conversation about equipment condition

Typical visit focus

  • Thermostat and operating sequence
  • Filter, blower, coil, and accessible airflow conditions
  • Electrical connections and operating components
  • Drainage, drain pan, and accessible safeties
  • Outdoor coil and equipment condition
  • Temperature performance and reported concerns

Common questions

Before you call.

These answers are general. The equipment and conditions at the property determine the right next step.

How often should HVAC maintenance be scheduled?

Most residential systems benefit from a cooling-season visit and a heating-season visit each year. Equipment type, filter loading, pets, occupancy, and operating conditions can change that schedule.

Does maintenance include repairs or refrigerant?

No. Maintenance is inspection, cleaning, testing, and adjustment within the visit scope. Repairs, parts, refrigerant, and replacement equipment are separate and require approval.

Can I join a maintenance plan for more than one system?

Yes. The Big Chill Service Plan has an additional-system option. Call or text with the number and type of systems for current plan availability.
